Very steep stairs and difficult to lock if carry luggage. Apartment looked tired. No hairdryer. Seemed weird to have to bring towels when linen provided. No information about lovely Appleby beach which we found as we left.

We really enjoyed our stay — everything was clean, comfortable, and the place had a very welcoming atmosphere. The location was great, and we felt at home right away. Just a small suggestion: the top bunk bed in the small room could use a little repair, as it creaks quite a lot during the night. Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you!

Apartment 3 had everything I needed. A real home from home with full self-catering facilities, a comfortable double bed, a ceiling fan (which I was grateful for in the heat) and an ensuite bathroom with shower. The basket of coffee sachets, teabags, milk and sugar was also a nice touch. Thank you :) The back garden is private and was lovely (and quiet whilst I was there) with a gazebo and garden furniture as well as a patio and lawn area. The location is good, with a bus stop just around the corner from the Victorian Lodge, which services the majority of the island. There is a Spar supermarket about 10 minutes walk from the Lodge and a larger Tesco superstore about 20-25 minutes walk away. Don't forget to bring some towels as these are not provided.

The stairs are quite steep and the dimmer light switches are a bit of a nuisance, as it's very dark in the lobby and landing areas until you can feel your way around for the switch and one couple unfortunately hit the fire alarm by mistake whilst I was there.

Didn't stay there in the end wasn't suitable for someone with mobility issues so had to pay to stay somewhere else proprietor told us she had sold our room for one night and would give us some money back as to date still waiting for the money
