PENTHOUSE SELF CHECK in APARTMENT IN CENTRAL HALIFAX

Misleading advert about the accommodation. No tea or coffee. No glassware. Shared bathroom. It's only a room within the apartment. Bed was utter garbage needs binning.

Right in the centre of things, very easy to get to, good parking

Location is a bit rough, shared bathroom with other guests was unexpected

It is a Ronseal room - does exactly what it says on the tin. Comfortable bed! A plethora of pubs in the surrounding area to ensure one sleeps well for the evening. Will return when at the piece hall again soon. Rather helpfully had magnificent guests in corresponding rooms.

Absolutely nothing concerning this facility, it's only saving grace was it's location

It's advertised as a DELUXE double room when in reality it's a dingy bedsit, When we arrived it was immediately obvious that the place hadn't been cleaned in sometime , there were cobwebs on the light fitting for starters. on further inspection we found that neither the fridge, microwave or the oven had been cleaned, there were remnants of food in the microwave and fridge and the oven hasn't had a clean in years. The smoke alarm had been pulled off and the toilet and bathroom were communal.. Once outside the "DELUXE" double room one of the fire doors was wedged open with some kind of pot and access to the stairs hindered by a number of bicycles. After we saw the state of the place we even wondered if the bedding had been changed, luckily the weather was warm and not trusting the bedding slept on the top sheet. there was a chair (singular) and table there which looked like they'd been pulled out of a skip. Because everything is done remotely there is no one to immediately complain to, if we'd had somewhere else to go to we'd have walked out, in short it was a disgusting place and whoever is renting this out should be prosecuted under the trades description act.

Only the location is good

Room was smelly, towels and bed sheets were dirty like with alot of spots on.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious and a very pleasant stay.

Hard to reach the velux windows to open them in hot weather. Maybe need a small stepladder to open/close them.

Very bad environment it’s very dirty no cleaning at all it’s not worth it
