PENTHOUSE SELF CHECK in APARTMENT IN CENTRAL HALIFAX

The property was dirty and dust everywhere and the shared bathroom has mould everywhere.

Struggled to get in I did contact the host who contacted me back within a few minutes as he sent a video

No code received to access the room. Nobody answered the phone when I tried to call and I had to make alternative arrangements for accommodation. No refund or apology given...

I didn't like to whole experience with the booking and will not use booking.com again after this.

Paid for kitchen access, kettle. Nothing was in the room.

Paid for kitchen access, Access to kettle. The images online misleading showing full kitchen. Misadvertisement. I only stayed 1 night out of the 2. Also bed uncomfortable. The room was located in a weird corridor.

The place is central self check in was good

Well as soon as I walked in the front door it’s not very clean in the lobby. When I went Up to the flat it were freezing cold and the door handle for my room was broken at first I Wasn’t sure if titbwould fall of as I tried to enter luckily it was hanging on by a thread .upon entering the room very stron offensive smell of cigarettes walks had make up marks on them .I would have love just a kettle to make a cup of tea after travelling 4 hours away .it was just to basic not comfortable at all glad I had only booked one night .

Everything as advertised. Great location for town centre.

I stayed in the apartments for two nights, the room was clean, and the facilities were fine, the cleaning staff were friendly, the location is good. Although it is not a penthouse, is a covered apartment block, and the rooms are like HMOs, but it's a reasonable price.

on the second night my stay was awful, from 9pm the room next door had several visitors, between 6 and 10 and they played music and were really loud until 4am this was a week night and not a weekend. It had been booked as party room, and because these rooms next door to each other, the walls are really thin. The next day I contacted the company on the phone to make them aware. I didn't receive any acknowledgement or an apology. This was a Monday night, if it was a the weekend, I would have understood. Please be aware that they are not manned and they are used as party spaces by young males.
