Hotel Casa Tenango

The staff are really nice and helpful. They went above and beyond to help me when my future travel was disrupted by road blocks and found me alternatives. The bedrooms are incredibly clean - they even cleaned my bed everyday for a multiple day stay. The mattresses are very comfortable. Free towels is an awesome perk. The breakfast was great and reasonably priced (~45q). The shower is hot and toilets work well. The terrace area on second floor is nice if a little small. The location is awesome- I recomend cafe cafeto nearby for cheap tacos. The main plaza is a 3 minute walk from the hostel.

It would be nice to be able to use the kitchen more. I was encouraged to only use it for microwaving or making tea and therefore had to buy meals. The food available was mainly breakfast food so it would be good to have evening options or, like I said, make the kitchen available outside of breakfast times. There was a lack of places to socialise. I understand they are building another section of the hostel which I think will have more terraces which should help solve this.

It is a great place to stay. Great location, it felt very cozy and clean, and staff were very kind.

We loved the staff who are really friendly, fun and helpful. Food was simple but very good and reasonable price, hot water and location is pretty good being next to other restaurants and a really good supermarket. We had a great stay here.

Only that we couldn't use the kitchen ourselves.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The room was great with a comfortable bed and lots of hot water for the shower.

The write up implied use of washing machine and drier which I took that I could use. Instead it was a laundry service so had to pay for it. Having said that it was an excellent service.
