Church Street House

The location was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. We met the hosts and they were lovely helpful people. The kitchen facilities were very good and very spacious.Great value for money.

They shower and toilet room was small.

The house is shabby, generally speaking. Bathroom was dirty and was not cleaned over my 3-day stay. No desk in the room, just a tiny coffee table with tea and coffee but no kettle. Wobbly wardrobe with a handful of hangers, but no chest of drawers (so where to put my clothes?). Moreover, there has been a problem with my booking's deposit and the owner refused to give me any support on the matter. It is a house with 6 lock boxes next to the front door: clearly a greedy owner trying to maximise financial return on his property at the expense of the guests.

Compact room, but clean. Comfortable bed. Good location.

1. There was evidence of smoking in the kitchen -- smell, and dirty ashtrays. 2. Not enough toilet paper in the shared bathrooms. 3. TV remote in room didn't work. 4. Rubbish in courtyard, ashtrays over-flowing, and bin not emptied.

Near great tourist locations

The kitchen table was dirty, the place needs a new bathroom toilet seat heating was terrible, there was no heating in the room I stayed at, same goes for the kitchen and bathroom. The room needs to be hovered.

Unclean, strong smell of cigarettes, dust on many surfaces. Soft fabric toilet seat :(
