Pebbles Guest House

It was quiet No Wi-Fi connection, no staff there to greet us on our visit, didn't know what we could use in the dinning room or the guest lounge. Didn't know if we could have any of the cereal or make a slice of toast or if we could have a cup of coffee or glass of juice or milk that was in the dinning area. Felt abit vulnerable also as there was no fire marshal or first aider in the property as I have a few mental health problems also have COPD so if I became very poorly my partner had no one at hand to call for help or a ambulance 🚑. Only time we saw a member of staff is when we vacated the premises at 0800hrs Sunday morning.

Breakfast was good. Extra milk in the fridge was required

The headboard was broken on the bed. When I emailed no one came to fix. I expected the towels to be changed and when I asked I had to wait until the following day. Also I had an ironing board but no iron and when I asked for one I wasn't given one

Location was fantastic just a few minutes walk from sea front but far enough so you didn't hear the noise. The bb was clean comfortable and excellent value for money. There was breakfast available but we didn't partake. The room was warm and had enough facilities to make our stay very welcoming. For example iron, hairdryer, tea and coffee beverages and of course clean towels. I like the fact it was self service which allow us to come and go as we pleased. Total respect to our privacy.

Only minor issue was the hot and cold water changing very quickly while in the shower. The deposit of £150 was a big hit to the card. However, it is returned/not taken if no breakages. However, as regular traveller around the country on the whole great stay excellent value for money.

Lovely hotel, although no staff on site, they were very responsive through messages. Clean and comfy room with modern decor.

Lack of breakfast some mornings and a shame towels weren't replaced during the stay, but I never asked either.
