Playa Grande Resort Optional All Inclusive

I liked the location and the deluxe suite that we stayed in, in particular. Our deluxe suite (one room, pull out Murphy bed in living room and two bathrooms which was great) had its own separate pool area which other parts of the resort did not have access to which I appreciated because it didn’t feel crowded. We were also walking distance from the downtown/center area by the pier and the night clubs/bars/restaurants. Staff were super nice, friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go back.

I wish we had more food options on the property. We had to make reservations for two out of the three places, and the food took a really long time to serve.

We loved our stay at Playa Grande! Everything from the rooms to the pools to the staff. The staff were exceptional. It truly felt like we were in paradise. Gorgeous gardens and pools. We had a blast and will stay here again when we come back to cabo.

We didn't do AI because we like exploring other restaurants and bars. The prices are expensive if you order drinks and food poolside but it's that way at every resort.

It was generally a nice experience to have especially for a big family with kids. We booked 3 rooms total and requested a room close together but since it wasn't available they put us in a penthouse for one night which was very cool! Also, we thought we booked for the all-inclusive feature but turned out we didn't upon checking in so we had to pay $120 per adult to avail it. The beach in front of the resort is not swimmable/no one is allowed to swim which was a bummer but there's a beach close by near the Marina, about 10mins walk. A number of pools are an alternative and bars everywhere in the resort for our drinks! Love that the resort is super close to the Marina and everything is close by. We enjoyed that with the all-inclusive we didn't have to think where to go for food, esp with kids in tow. They got 4 restaurants (buffet breakfast, steakhouse, sports bar, and The Ridge). Staff are all very nice but they expect tips everywhere. We loved the Mexican fiesta on Monday Night, we has so much fun!!

Expensive area. The resort prices are in USD and not in Mexican peso. Hidden fees and add ons for the activities. People will try to haggle and make a deal to make money. You cannot swim on the beach in front of resort, it is not allowed. Sheets and towels are a little rough. Rooms are outdated but still clean.

Beautifully maintained. We loved the authentic feel of the property.

The resort is beautiful. Breakfast was awesome too. They cleaned our rooms everyday. Polite was very polite.

Maria working at the front desk put us in a room in the basement where we had to take two elevators and go up the hill. The doors were slamming. Our room 3049 had mold. We complained to Maria and she did not move us saying there were no other rooms. We were later moved to a different room 1122 by a gentleman Angel.
