The place is very calm. And the owner is very friendly and genuine.

Hot water shower is not powerful enough.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Traveller Kandy. The rooms are so nice, the view is just brilliant. Loved doing my yoga in the morning with this awesome view. The first evening I also enjoyed a really really delicious rice and curry there and had some good talks with the lovely couple - thank you so much guys! ☺️

Great accommodation in Kandy! The facilities (wifi, bed, bathroom, shared kitchen) are top notch. I loved the location just outside Kandy to escape the crowded, noisy and hectic city. Still, it was very easy to get to Kandy city centre by bus or tuktuk. The view from the terrace was incredible. Harshana, the owner of the accommodation, is super friendly and helpful. No matter what the issue (finding the best bus, booking train tickets or contacting local authorities) he always provided a helping hand. I have felt very comfortable and safe and can absolutely recommend the accommodation.

Beautifully furnished and large room with patio and great view. The bed is very comfortable. Loved that there were shelves, hangers, light beside the bed etc. (which is not that common everywhere) and a nice table in the room. Everything is new and very clean. Great breakfast. I liked that I could use the kitchen and prepare tea/coffee at any time. Daniela and Harshana are very lovely and helpful hosts, I will definitely come back when in Kandy again.

Exceptional stay at The Traveller From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The rooms were spacious, and beautifully designed, offering breathtaking views of the riverside. Conveniently located near attractions and transportation, this place surpassed all expectations. Can't wait to return!

Overall, our overnight stay was fine, and the hosts were very eager to please, engaging with us throughout. The view was good, and the mattress was soft. They had their own menu; we even ordered beer.

1)The location is on a mountain with a narrow road, taking drivers a minimum of 30 minutes to find the place. 2)We were unaware of ongoing renovations when booking on Booking.com. 3)The promised construction noise from 10:00 am -12:00 pm started at 8:00 AM. 4)Despite choosing accommodation with WiFi, it disconnected immediately and there were attempts to fix it. It worked later though. 5) Disturbing hammer sounds early in the morning. You need to turn on/off the hot water supply, and the shower pressure is low. The toilet bathes in water from the shower. It feels like living on a construction site.
