York Minster Garden

The location is incredible and the cottage had everything we needed. The bed is really comfy, and the cottage is surprisingly spacious. The private garden space was a joy and really quiet and peaceful, which was surprising co didering how central the location is

We couldn't find the thermostat

Location, quiet, garden, charm, layout.

Milk in fridge on arrival would have been a nice touch. And shampoo in the bathroom.

Google maps is wrong, wasted an hour driving around trying to get to an area that Google thought we were going behind gates , in the rain. So that was poorly described and couldn’t get hold of anyone to chat to or ask directions. Also extremely expensive parking near by so that probably should be explained.

Right in the centre of York so only a few minutes walk to get anywhere. Extremely peaceful. It’s like a little oasis

Little bit cold but it is February and we did turn the heating up a bit so wasn’t an issue

Fantastic location! The living area was lovely and a good size. Having a small, cosy garden was great too with wonderful views of the Minster. Lots of eateries and shops nearby too.

The bedroom was a bit cold at night. The storage heaters warmed up in the early hours but we needed a hot water bottle for bedtime.

The location is fantastic

The apartment has a steep staircase that is difficult for people with mobility issues.

An absolute gem we stayed there over New Year and it was just so lovely everything you could wish for. Perfect location and accommodation so comfortable and lovely personal touches from the owners. We definitely will be staying again the garden was beautiful so many birds it will be so lovely to stay in the summer and sit in the garden.

Stunning location, felt magical as I’d booked for Christmas & it was just everything.

Absolutely nothing! Before booking I read the reviews & people was saying…. It’s a very cold property ect. I took a portable heater, electric blanket & a hot water bottle, I didn’t need any of them! The heat was great.

The location was fantastic.

Nice cottage, the kitchen was great but felt the rest needed a bit updating especially the bedroom and bathroom. We did find the cottage very cold even with the heating on.
