Assumed we had a balcony from broad description of property but realised there was more than one apartment and we were not in the unit with the balcony.

Lovely well furnished apartment with a great balcony, very close walking distance to the old town gate and the markets. Walking distance to the beaches, bakeries and supermarkets. Great view from the sunny balcony. Car parking is nearby and is free with the card provided on arrival. Dario was a great host and helped us get our luggage up to the apartment.

There are no washing or drying facilities, would benefit from having a clothes airer or pull out line on the balcony so that guests can do some hand washing and get things dry. The apartment is on the 5th floor, with over 100 steps, so don’t bring heavy luggage! Some basic maintenance to unblock the drain in the shower and keep the shower head flowing properly would make a huge difference. The shower drain was almost completely blocked with hair. We did both of these things to reduce the amount of water on the floor after a shower. For the parking, you need to be patient and wait for someone else to leave as it is a public car park. To get the parking card, we had to meet at the apartment first and there was nowhere to pull up outside the apartment in the very narrow residential street that was difficult to get out of. We got a parking ticket while navigating getting the card and checking in!

We stayed in this beautiful, modern apartment for 3 nights and had a great experience. The interiors are stylish and thoughtfully designed, set in a charming old building. Loved the balcony, and the mini kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location was good! Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Split — highly recommend!

The bed was very comfortable, though the mattress felt a bit warm at night. The shower has no door, so water tends to spill — we had to use extra towels. Also, it’s on the 5th floor with no elevator.
