Sky Residence Split - city center

Great location, everything is close by. Very clean and nice styling of the room. Host was kind.

The stairs hehe, like everyone here. At night there isn’t a light in the staircase, so it will be really dark. The shower is kinda open, the whole bathroom will be wet after showering. And there isn’t really a duvet, only a sheet.

Stairs, but they organised for our bags to be taken up to the unit, so wasn’t an issue.

The apartment is in a very good location. Everything is new and clean. All amenities. Coffee machine. Kitchen equipment. Warm welcome. Thank you, Darko, for the bottle of good wine. Recommended.

Excellent location, close to historic town, but quiet. Beautifully designed. We loved sitting on the balcony. Excellent view and furniture. Kitchen and bathroom fully equipped. Helpful owner, very responsive. We would stay here again when in Split.

It is 6 floors up without an elevator. Steps are low, though, so we eventually adopted the method we observed with other residents: just read something on your phone while shuffling upwards, it will be over before you know it. We didn’t understand the parking instructions initially and made the mistake to drive into the street in which the apartment is located. Do not do this! It’s a traffic disaster. Just go directly to the large parking lot one street over. Last but not least: the apartment is part of an original larger apartment which has been converted into two vacation rentals. At some point during our stay two “party people” moved in next door. Eventually they understood that they were not alone and all was well again, but there is some communication and expectation management that could be improved.

The room was very clean and tidy. We were provided with information and recommendations as to where we should go in town which was very useful as we weren’t overly familiar with the area.

There wasn’t anything we disliked too much about the property. The only slight inconvenience were the many flights of stairs to get to our room.

Tricky finding with google maps, but once Darko explained the shortcut to Old City i was able to enjoy Split and easily return to my lovely apartment!
