Atlantic Reach Resort

The location was convenient for exploring Cornwall, and the children were initially excited about the advertised facilities.

Nearly everything else. The accommodation was poorly maintained, unsafe, and misrepresented. The fridge failed, spoiling over £200 of food; a major leak poured through a ceiling light; the downstairs toilet was blocked and stank throughout the property. There was no washing machine or dryer despite being listed, no usable Wi-Fi, and the outdoor pool was unheated and dirty. Staff were completely unhelpful, reception ignored every complaint, and we were forced to leave a day early due to the unbearable conditions.

The resort itself

There was no strong wi fi in this resort, also just 1 toiletries, which could do some more such as tissues and towels.

Remember staying here with friends and have been with family in the past too. However property is very worn and needing some love!

No window restrictions unsafe for our children Loud and inconsiderate neighbours ( loud music and fire near their back door) with no response from on call

The gym. That's it.

Nothing happening here whatsoever. No entertainment during day or evening. Outdoor pool very dated and not heated so not one person was swimming. Anything that was on site would either not be open or closed before 9 pm (Pub/mini arcade) Basic accommodation,the majority are empty as many privately owned. The gym was about the only descent thing here. Indoor pool was okay but far too small and no life guard either. Mini golf very old and dated. Food inside the pub to when it did happen to be open was overpriced and wasn't that great either. Needless to say won't be returning. Please don't come here with young kids they'll be bored out of their minds.

On booking the holiday we were given the impression facilities would be open. Laser tag open once Shop opened once, bar and restaurant 3 times between 5 and 9 , mini golf closed, segway closed, slip and slide only open weekends, amusements closed at 9pm never open before 6pm. No wifi in the apartments . Staff in reception/leisure centre unhelpful with any of the above. Soft play area was not staffed and left uncleaned for days as we're the toilets, clearly not checked and cleaned, bins overflowing, loo rolls left on the wet floor as the dispenser had been removed.

Beautiful area

No working hob, A lovely lady who worked their doing gardening helped us saying she would let someone know then a little later 1 man from I believe from maintenance came and told us the oven needed replacing and would report to maintenance team, we also couldn’t have a bath due to hot water lasting no longer than a minute, also bath water leaked through to the hallway! We tried to report the issue straight away but the reception phone wasn’t answered once the whole stay!, every time we had an issue my partner had to walk to reception to be told they would contact maintenance who never came until the day before we left whilst we was out! and everything was still not working! We tried to book swimming ourselves and twin children online through our leisure pass which wasn’t working my partner again went to reception to be told they couldn’t help because it has to be done online! And lastly being told about a lovely pub that was closed the whole time we was there! As much as it was a beautiful area unfortunately for us it was wasted money not being able to enjoy our stay and staff came across like they didn’t care nor were interested to help with any issues! Apart from the lovely gardener!

Excellent place with the hot tub and all the facilities!! Worth the money. We had a lovely time.
