Delightful new period conversion

The apartment was very spacious. The tv was not tuned but could on demand service if you logged into your own account… just remember to log out of Your accounts.

The main door had was fully open. Wasn’t secure but the host advised this was due to changing the locking system of the main door. The communal area was not very attractive and could do with a clean. Also a random mattress near the entrance to the apartment. Also the outside area and communal bin areas was very dirty like they hadn’t been cleaned or emptied in a while.

Nothing to fault,would definitely stay there again,host Dan brilliant nothing was an issue always just a message away if needed

A complete nightmare! shame on the host & booking.com ! When we arrived I thought we had made a mistake & arrived to the wrong building, almost driving away . The building windows are filthy , the building entrance door is just swinging open because the door lock was just laying on broken on the floor. The door can’t be locked meaning anyone can just walk in off the street . When you enter the building to get to the apartment the communal entrance & stairwell are absolutely filthy with spiders & cobwebs everywhere & dirt & litter on the floors . There has previously been a fire in the stairwell & so if that isn’t enough to make you want to leave with a door that is always open to anyone ! When we entered the actual apartment we had booked the bedroom blind was down on the floor, there was other peoples foods in the cupboards , the cutlery drawer was full with crumbs & hairs , the fridge was dirty , the areas & furniture around the bed was thick with dust , very dirty marks all around the walls around the bed and the mattress was the worst mattress I have ever felt ! The springs of the mattress completely gone and I still have a bad back almost one month later . As soon as we arrived we tried to speak to the host & booking.com to ask to leave but the host wouldn’t answer the phone to us after he saw our first message requesting to be refunded . He wouldn’t speak to us for the whole week and booking.com said there was nothing they could do even though we sent them all the photos of how dirty it was and knew we had an eight week old baby with us. We were forced to stay in hell & my partner is still so upset after having to stay in there as the host would not return our money and we were unable to find another property for the time we needed at such short notice .

Superb communication from 'Dan' who explained in great detail everything about the accommodation and where to find the keys to the apartment. The local council made it restricted parking outside the apartment so Dan put me in touch with the owners of a private car park across the road who charged me £5 for 2 nights.

A bit of a hill back to the apartment from the centre of town but its only a 10 minute walk.

It’s was like being in your own home, so comforting.

It was really not an issue but if I was forced to say anything I would say some of the fire doors seemed to like snap shut when someone on another floor would open their fire door leading to the apartments if you understand but like I said, a very very minor conscience.
