"We had a very relaxing & enjoyable stay."

The location was great & very dog friendly. The courtyard & garden are very nice. All rooms are decent size and the bath is a bonus.

Nothing as it was perfect.

Lovely cottage. Warm, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed with lovely bed linen. Welcome basket was very thoughtful. Steve was very helpful allowing us to check in early ahead of our trek along the beach, we were all settled when we got back.

Only downside was clear glass in bathroom window and no blind.

Liked the decor inside. A nice 70’s vibe.

I was a bit concerned about parking on arrival but large free car park near.

"Great!"

A lovely cottage with equipped with everything you need. The hosts left a hamper full of goodies, milk in the fridge, coffee, tea and sugar which was a lovely touch. Dishwasher tabs and shower gel are also provided. The beds were very comfy and the cottage was lovely and warm on what proved to be a pretty chilly few August days! Close to a work, the beach and a pub. I'd stay again. Thanks so much to the owners for their generosity.

If I'm being really fussy, I would say that the front of the property could be tidied a little - weeds and cobwebs cleared - to make sure the first impressions are as good as the cottage itself.

"A beautiful cottage stay, for a romantic getaway or a family trip."

10.0

Absolutely charming cottage, in a great location! On arrival, we were greeted with a lovely hamper, which included a selection of breakfast cereals, drinks, snacks and biscuits! There was also milk in the fridge. A lovely gesture from the host. There is parking by the cottage, but as we had a large vehicle, we chose to park in the Free car park, which is only over the road, as we didn't want to be in the way, for the other residents in the road. There is also a very good playground by the car park, so if you have children it will keep them occupied. We stayed here, with our 5 year old grandson, but if you are travelling with younger children, the cottage has everything you need (so you can save space in your car boot!!) There is a travel cot, with the most gorgeous bedding supplied, highchair and a pull across stair guard, at the top of the stairs. Our bed had one of the most comfiest mattresses I have ever slept on! The cottage has a fully stocked kitchen, and we had everything needed, when we cooked anything. There is a good selection of board games, and also, a lot of books to look at. Outside, there is a pretty courtyard garden, there is also access to another lawned area garden, opposite. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the cottage, and you pass a lovely shop on the way, which sells lots of things to use on the beach. Even though it was school holidays, the beach was not overcrowded at all! There is a chip shop, over the road from the cottage, which was very nice, and a 5min car ride away, was Africa Alive, which again, is great for kids. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Pea Cottage, and would definitely recommend it for a peaceful break, on the Suffolk coast. Steve, our host, was lovely and was very quick to communicate with. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home 😊
