Pea Cottage Dog friendly and 5 mins to beach

Thoughtful touch to have a breakfast box We are not cereal eaters but our daughter loved it! Great to have fresh milk in fridge ready for that cuppa! 🙏 Super bistro set for catching the morning sun for coffee & shade in the afternoon. Enclosed garden fab for dogs & chilling! Lovely friendly & helpful neighbour.

Booking.com made a BIG mistake. After a seven and a half hour journey and 8:30pm in the evening you want to be able to get into the property quickly and with ease. The wrong key code was sent! The neighbours were so helpful … recharging phone so we could get contact details! Luckily knocking next door the disaster was solved! They had the CORRECT key code and were a contact person for the cottage unbeknown to us as that information was inside Pea Cottage. Disgusting for a beginning of a holiday & frustrating for everyone involved. A very stressful experience.

Well furnished, good bedding, pleasant garden and courtyard

Not a criticism but a handrail on the side of the stairs would be a benefit

It was close to beach and all amenities, but still very peaceful and relaxing

There wasn’t any problems at all

It was in a good location nicely close to Southwold where we had spent the day. We were only there for one night but it was good to have the local chippy for a great tea In the garden. The beach was lovely and the pub looked good .

A few niggles - it wasn't super clear we could park outside so we popped it in the car park As someone with a need to straighten hair a socket near a mirror would be great or an extension lead Probably can't be helped but the water meant scum in the kettle and tea was a bit 'filmy' I'm not sure if the price is competitive but felt a teeny bit expensive More suitable for 2 adults plus kids due to bunk beds

The location was perfect and the cottae very clean and pretty.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable. But I know that is just personal preference.

Really clean and comfortable house. Beds very comfy, towels fluffy. Plenty of space for the four of us. A nice sunny patio garden to sit in in the afternoon. Great location - 5 mins walk from a beautiful, empty beach, pub, cafe, playground, restaurant. Very short drive from Lowestoft and Beccles.

A tiny thing - fill up the salt and pepper pots in the kitchen for cooking. A couple of rugs in the bedroom would be great - the rough carpeting is a little rough on bare feet.

Lovely little cottage. Tight parking but not a problem. Perfect for a small family and lovely and close to Southwold where we spent most of our time.

The remote didn’t work- maybe needed new batteries? The pull on the blind in the living room kept coming off. The bathroom plug wasn’t a perfect fit so the water slowly drained. The kettle was full of scale. Little fixes could make it perfect.

Easy walking distance from beach and quiet location

Parking is a bit tight outside but there is easy access to a car park close by.
