Ivy Cottage Ahangama

The location was good and room was modernize well, we enjoy our gateway. The room is very clean and neat, we like the design. They are breakfast is very good and tasty 😍 We are so satisfied and very happy for they are services they provide.

They don't have a generator when there's power failure, during our trip there was a power failure when we return back to the hotel after dinner and the reception also was not there so we were bit confused at that time. Just suggesting for improvements , it's better to let us know when there's a power failure and make sure the reception is there. Other than that, our stay was excellent and we enjoyed.

Comfortable bed, and super air-conditioning. The bathtub was a nice addition. The room was nice and spacious.

The hot water wasn't sufficient, and some of the amenities mentioned on the site were not available (hairdryer & kettle).

Nicely designed accommodation close to the beach. The Sri Lankan breakfast is great here! The hosts our really friendly and we were able to rent a scooter for 2000 Rs per day

Relatively expensive

The host and staff were very helpful and were on Constant call if we needed anything.

Great location very close to the beach. Lot of good food joints at a walking distance from the property. Staff were very helpful and always available. Bus stop, railway station just 5 mins aways.

Without a discount, the price is too high. There’s no shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, or body lotion. The only cover is a thin sheet, with no extra blanket,since the AC is right above the bed, it wasn’t very comfortable. No beach towels are provided, and the breakfast is very basic. I booked this hotel at a discount, and it was great. But at full price, I don’t think it’s worth it.
