Batur Volcano Basecamp

We loved our stay here! It was the perfect base to do the mount Batur hike which was organised once we arrived through the owner so was super easy and hassle free. You’re really near the start of the hike so we got picked up at 3.30 and still made it to the top in time. On the property itself the hot springs were definitely the highlight!

The bathroom was a little outdated and there was no sink. But this wasn’t a massive issue as it was only a 2 night stay! I would still recommend this place regardless

Well located to do Batur mount and the hot spring swimming pool is very welcome after the hiking Special thanks to Mowgli who did everything to make our journey perfect : from the very good restaurant hosted by his family to the organization of our mount batur trip

Having a transportation mean would be better

Kadek and his family were lovely and super helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. He brought us fresh, complimentary fruit every day and offered us transportation, guides and tips. The natural hot spring pools are a great add-on and the views of the lake and mountain are priceless. Suksma Kadek for making us feel so welcomed!

The room itself is very basic and the bathroom could do with even a small sink as the only way to wash is using the shower faucet.

The hot springs ! Staff fabulous and so friendly Bed comfortable :)
