Batur Volcano Basecamp

The landscape of this place is beautiful. Room was clean, bed is comfortable, water heater is available. They have 2 private hot spring pool you can use anytime which is a huge win for this property. Kadek, the owner, was warm and welcoming.

Lack of ventilation in the room, so we slept with the door open. Not a big issue.

Very welcoming staff - they met us with fruits, open hearts and great smiles. They also provide local services and trips. The place is something special - very picturesque, you can see mountains and the lake. Also there is a pool with hot springs.

Some rooms don't have sinks, yet shower is present. Also it would be great to make the hanger in the bathroom more solid, so there is no risk for the towel or clothes to fall down.

The hot spring pool was something extra you don’t get just everywhere! And the view!

This is a family run homestay and the are very passionate about making your stay as comfortable as possible. They were very friendly and accommodating. They provided free fruit and water as well as a good breakfast. They also facilitated a trip up Mt Batur and around the area. Some of the nicest people you would ever wish to meet. The hot spring pools are amazing as well.

The general area suffers from flies but this is synonymous with the area and not the property. Also it’s a bit noisy due to chickens and motorbikes. Even though we were away from the road. Although again this is due to the area rather than the property.

the owners are very welcoming with fruits, hot drinks and arak for free !! Mowgli like share about the history and the culture of his community. They arranged everything for the Mount Batur trekking which was a beautiful experience ! Amazing hot spring pools in the garden with a view.

Two pools filled with volcanic hot springs water. Very friendly staff. Rooms are simple, but new. View on two volcanoes.

Outstanding stay, which we just needed to prolong. One of the best which we've experienced during several weeks in Bali and Lombok. Excellent and friendly staff and owners, nice rooms and amazing garden with private hot springs in it, a few steps from your room. Will definitely come back when we will be around again! All, for a very good price.

Very cool new hotel. 2 pools with Volcanic hot water are not too big, but cozy. Beautiful view of the volcano and the lake. Very cool little houses with a chic bed and new bed linen. In the morning there was a delicious breakfast. The host is very friendly and helped to organize my leisure time.
