Green Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals

I was due to stay at the hotel 3 weeks ago today. The day before I got an email saying that, due to a burst water main in Kinross my booking was transferred to a Travel Lodge at Kinross Service Station!!! I immediately cancelled and demanded a refund. Despite a promise of a refund within five working days, I am still waiting for my refund 21 days on. Disgraceful

Breakfast was decent.

Absolutely no hot water in the morning before we departed so cold showers all round. Spoke to several other guests who had the same issue.

Very little.

This hotel is being renovated and much of it is still very shoddy and unloved. Our friends booked directly and were originally quoted £300+ but on arrival were charged only £140. That was what the hotel was worth in its current state. I would welcome a refund from Booking.com.

Location suited our needs

Very expensive. We paid two and a half times the price through Booking.com that was paid by friends who had not pre-booked and were ‘walk-ins’

The staff were very nice Plenty parking

The hotel was a bit run down and although refurbished our room had 2 single beds that moved everytime you sat or lay on them. The rug on the floor was very slippy and quite hazardous. There was one chair in the room and two would have been better. The food at dinner was not good with very little choice

Don’t book this hotel. We booked months ago through booking.com for our daughter’s wedding day. Both families booked 10 rooms only to find the hotel did not have any rooms for us. It was very stressful and incompetent of the hotel.
