That they cancelled on the morning of our reservation. Didn’t communicate with me and instead did it through booking.com. I phoned to ask for an explanation and was told someone would phone me back and they did not.

I miss haggis and yours was lovely (breakfast and evening meal)

I didn't stay for breakfast as it was a busy day for me. Great location next to bus stops which served my home in Edinburgh. The room had been recently renovated and was beautifully done.

There was a small issue regarding towels, the laundry hadn't delivered in time but there were fresh towels on my return to the room later that evening. The staff apologised but is certainly wasn't their fault.

The hotel is in process of being refurbished. Very impressed with the new decor. Very smart & clean. Would stay again.

The room was amazing. My only small issue waa stepping in or out the bath was a nightmare. A small handrail is required. We are fit & able but anyone else would struggle..Pillows arent the best.

There needs to be a table level socket for hairdrier.. The TV was facing the wardrobe rather than the bed

Nowhere to keep my bike. I did ask but the receptionist said they didn’t have anywhere. So i ended up locking it out the front of the hotel.

Good but a wee over priced. The staff were excellent but the hotel looks tired and needs some TLC

Windows could not be opened. Lack of grab rails in bathroom

Just being renovated so there were work people painting and decorating, plus doing a complete refurbishment on all of the rooms.

The room was a bit cold, although they did provide an extra heater.

Extremely easy comfortable feeling to the hotel. Large bright rooms with big bay windows and traditional furnishings make for a very pleasant stay with plenty of room for my two big dogs who really enjoy the grass area around the hotel and it's proximity to Loch Leven about half a mile from the property. Excellent breakfast served by Susan - a lovely cheerful lady. This must have been our seventh or eighth stay and it is always a great break. Much needed renovation is going on: I just hope the comfortable atmosphere of old is retained.
