Screaming Gecko Hostel

Upon arrival they told us that the place had bedbugs so we couldn’t stay there. We were told that they would refund us so we booked at another place. Went there for 3 days in a row to try get the refund but they said that they didn’t have the money and that they would ask Booking.com for the money. But now, 1 month later, they still haven’t refunded us and are no longer answering. Worst experience ever.

Location excellent, rooms were perfect, staff were so nice and made you feel like family. Such a chill place! Will be back!

Amazing and friendly staff

It was a great stay here, the vibes are on point. I really liked the free booze, and the owner is really cool. Beds and bathroom where alright, it's to be expected from a hostel. No complains though, slept like a baby.

There was a draught so water was scarce, and therefore I was unable to bathe at the times that I wanted. But I just had to wait a bit to shower, it's more a of problem with the town that the hostel really.
