Screaming Gecko Hostel

Very good location and perfectly fine as a cheap place for a few nights.

We booked a triple room and got this weird enormous room with 4 beds in it, which felt very strange. The double bed was also very small so we ended up having to sleep in separate beds. We also were weren’t in the main building but in a weird annex which felt a bit dodgy. The were hairs on the bathroom walls

I enjoyed the free rum during happy hour, it's quiet nice that they even offer free alcohol every night. The rooftop bar had amazing vibes, and view. The people are there to have a good time and drink the free rum.

Sometimes there was no water for showering, because I came during a time where there is a drought in the town. So I was told the city is rationing water, and I had to a wait a couple of hours to take a shower.

The most important The personnel! This is very family oriented place! The energy was amazing moreover they have a very good price for the tours once you stay there… also the house have a big charm… rooftop view, kitchen island, and balcony where you can gather with the others travelers

Its a great place to stay they had the cheapest dorm rooms with air-con I was at another place with a fan room but this place gave me aircon dorm for the same price. The beds all had privacy curtains which I really liked. The dorms were clean they were quite full but I guess thats why they are a little cheaper. Overall it was a great stay I extended for a week....day by day just chillin, we met there every night for a happy hour and meeting point on the roof top for a free happy
