Melina Central Apartment Taormina

Perfect location, very spacious, friendly staff

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment in Taormina. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the town’s attractions, restaurants, and shops. The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped, which has everything needed for preparing meals. The beds are very comfortable. Also a very accommodating host, who kindly allowed us to check in after 1:00 a.m. due to our plan delay despite check-in technically no longer being available at that hour.

The windows face directly onto the street, so it can be quite loud at night due to people in nearby bars. Early in the morning, street cleaning crews and delivery vehicles can also be heard. Light sleepers may want to keep this in mind…

This apartment does not come with service. You just get a key. It is very noisy; you can hear everything on the busy street.

The location of the apartment is almost unbeatable, apart from the fact that it can be very noisy even at night. We were prepared for that, it still caused some trouble sleeping. The apartment has spacious rooms, comfy beds, but could also do with wardrobes or chests of drawers instead of the clothing racks. This was also seen in the photos beforehand, so we knew we will have to store our clothes like this. What is more important, is its cleanliness and quality furniture /equipment - these were superb. We spent a great holiday here!
