Location and view is nice. Not far from centre, breakfast was really good. Stuff were so kind, helpful and friendly 😊

Shower head was broken and water was leaking on all sides. Power supply over the shower.

The view is great

We booked this before travelling (2 months ago)It’s not clean at all. Black dust and new paint smell everywhere. The owner was pushing us to pay and trying to offer another rooms. It was our first night after 20 hour flight. So disappointed

Great location we saw lots of monkeys from our room and a good view of Kandy.

The property is quite run down. We had trouble with our shower not working. We managed to get it working with help from the staff.

It was a great experience to stay a night at Ceylon Lake Residencies. Mr Jayasinghe who guided us there treated us more than expected with super customer values. Breakfast and the room view was very nice. We like to recommend this place to all who seek the calm Sri Lankan culture and experience in their leisure time. Its worth than the expenditure. Thank you

The location near Arthur’s seat viewpoint was convenient. We also discovered Yaka lounge just one street up from the hotel, a great place for pizza and view of Kandy

There was a musty smell and overall the place needs a refresh. Having said that, there was clearly renovations and painting going on in several places so I guess they are addressing and upgrading.

Breakfast was nice.

The room we booked and saw in the booking was not really like the one we got. The rooms would need a lot of renovation and could be a lot cleaner. Also don’t really expect a lake view, lake is only visible behind the buildings from most of the rooms.

Great location. Good Internet. Clean towels. Comfortable beds. Nice balcony. In the evening, monkeys jumped on the roof( and it was a fan).

Mould on the walls in the shower room.
