Soli Hostel

Great value for money and very convenient location for our 2-day Alton Towers trip (5 mins drive). We stayed for one night as a family of 9 and had 2 rooms — one with 4 beds and one with 6 beds — both with their own toilets, which worked perfectly for our group. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and ideal for a short family stay.

Arriving late with no other guests or staff around felt a little spooky at first! But it actually turned into a great laugh teasing our children, so it became part of the fun and memorable experience.

The shower head was broken so water sprayed everywhere when taking shower,

I didn't have the breakfast but I seen one member of staff she was a very welcoming lady

The bathrooms could have been a bit more clean with mouldy seals.

Could do with directions leading to rooms. We struggled to locate room 5 with no signs on the wall to direct us coupled with the fact that we had babies plus bags.

Location was brilliant. Right next to Alton towers.

We didn’t have any facility’s to wash up our brew mugs etc. but the hostel had what we needed, just could have done with a sink etc to wash up in.

All we needed for two nights away to visit alton towers. Its basic but it's a hostel so exactly what you expect. Kitchenette with microwave, toaster, water boiler, crockery etc. Comfy beds, good shared space with kids games. Outdoor space. We took a projector so could watch film in bed. No.tv. first night we were the only family in the hostel so very quiet a little strange feeling.

No sweeping brush or cleaning facilities to clean up after self, and no washing up facilities we were to leave them for someone to put in a dishwasher after we left. But I.like to clean up after myself.
