Gorgeous views of the countryside from the rooms window!

Could of done with a fridge and an iron in the room

The period charm, the walled gardens, the superb dining room and food and the friendly, courteous and attentive staff

Some of the decor looked a bit tired

The view from the room's large window onto fields of sheep. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel was very quiet.

Amazing staff everyone of them food was excellent both evening meal and breakfast dining room and bar area very well presented A lot of attention to detail and the gardens and grounds were immaculate

While we appreciated the charm and age of the building our room did have a few minor issues because of the cold wet weather there was an awful draught where it closed also the dead lock on the door didn’t work properly there were several cracked floor tiles with sharp edges the shower riser had part of the plastic trim missing

Location is good. Friendly staff

-Grand hotel but the cottage is nothing like photos shared. Especially the kitchen. Utensils were not cleaned. Kettle was turned green from inside. Dish soap, kitchen salt was not provided. Washing machine was dirty. Cooking pans had lots of scratches on surface. -Wifi is a big issue in the cottage. Totally weak connection Extremely disappointed with the overall experience. In photos room looks very modern and stylish but they are not. Cottage needs renovation.
