Sweeney Hall Hotel

Only booked accommodation so can't rate breakfast but evening meal was very good, beers, wines and cider also all good. Staff very friendly. Will be stopping next year for same event.

Location, ambience.

Noise from other rooms.

The oldness to it, the surroundings, the outdoor area, the breakfast, the dinner in the restaurant. The rooms were big, the showers were lovely. British ironworks was just down the road, booked this hotel for that reason. Great location for it.

The bed was way too soft (personal preference for a solid mattress) and it said a big bed, I was expecting king sized. Although we slept alright. Giving our breakfast order felt rushed, she nearly didnt ask what eggs we wanted, and a bit disappointed not to get toast with it. But the food was lovely, so can't complain too much.

It was comfortable and a bit quirky. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent.

The bathroom could have done with a facelift
