Ivory House

Location and house was great! 2 min walk to the beat was lovely in the evening. The house had everything we needed for a lovely stay!

The guests in the house next door we're extremely loud until the early hours of the morning!

Large house with each bedroom with its en suite. Clean and full facilities. Once you have parked up, you can leave the car and 5 min walk to the beach.

The house was done out well with decent rooms, and perfect location just down the road from the beach.

The stairs were very bad and steep as mentioned in other reviews but we had a 6yr old who we had to watch when going up and down. The blinds in all rooms were white and didn't block any light so didn't allow for decent sleep for any of us. The hot tub was dirty on arrival so had to wait untill the next day to use, plus only half the jets actually worked. Worst of all was the guests staying in the adjoining property who had music blaring, very noisy talking ect untill 3 in the morning and starting again at 9 the next day as well as constant hottub use. They went all day untill 11ish as my other half went to the cliff Hotel to complain and they eventually got them to turn the music off but they continued to use hot tub and talk loudly. Apparently according to the local residents this is an on going issues and even made the papers at one point. I would not recommend for a quiet family retreat. Lastly the parking is not great and definitely not always available near the property.

Fab location. House was clean. Good communal spaces.

Needed a new set of kitchen knives. Rooms on the upper floors were too hot and unable to fully open windows. Noisy seagulls landing on flat roof but nothing can be done about that.

The house was fabulous so was the Hot tub

THE SMELL OF WEED. NEXT DOOR WAS A FAMILY THAT SAT IN THERE FRONT GARDEN SMOKING WEED ALL DAY AND ALL EVENING. THE OTHER HOUSE THE OTHER SIDE HAD A GROUP OF GUYS SMOKING WEED ALL EVENING. SUCH A DISAPOINTMENT.

Great stay at ivory house and worth the money. Location is great to the beach and plenty of bedroom space.

Unfortunately the first night we had no hot water. The property is also next to a block of flats which had a high aroma with lots of cigarette butts chucked into the garden. House next door which I assume is a holiday home too was also very noisy and kept us up most of the night.

Loved the location and hot tub :)

Could have done with extra towels for use in the hot tub and there were no bin bags for rubbish.
