GBWe stayed for one night to watch a music performance at the tower ballroom which was just a 3 minute walk away in fact the hotel is probably the closest hotel to the tower. We had the cooked breakfast with each individual item cooked just right with orange juice and tea in proper cups and saucers. We stayed in room 14 on the top floor at the front of the property with an amazing view of the tower. the room was warm and clean, the bed, pillow and sheets were comfortable and soft and although the room wasn't large it was enough for what we required and it had tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Shower was hot with good pressure, no complaints plus there was complimentary toiletries and soft towels. The host was a really nice man, welcoming on our arrival, happy, helpful and informative and also accommodating about an early breakfast time. Found a free parking space just up the road. Okay the decor, room and bathroom is from a time gone by but everything worked and for the price £20pp for a room, shower a full English breakfast and good service you can't complain !!
GBComfortable bed
Not much space, shower not got much pressure, toilet didn’t flush properly, bathroom window didnt have a handle to shut it and it was freezing, no curtains so awake very early due to light coming through blinds, not cleaned properly hair in different places, tv in bad place breaking your neck to watch it
GBIts location
It was dirty and ill equipped. Toilet falling apart. No en-suite as stated, no access to TV lounge. Not been decorated in years or cleaned for that matter. Paid for breakfast but didn’t risk it. Disgusting place.

GBLocation
Place was filthy, stains on walls and bedding. No curtain/blind in the bathroom.
GBFriendly staff.
The first thing was the shower, could you please tell me why we had to put on the shower doors everytime we was taking a shower, the second thing was the shower cubicle was grimey and the toilet seat was broken, Also, the hotel was told that I am disabled before arrival. And the shower was very small, and I had to use the communal bathroom which I could only get a wipe wash, as that was very small too.

GBThe location was excellent
INI recently enjoyed a one-night stay at Sonora Park Hotel in Blackpool, and it exceeded expectations in every way. The property strikes a balance between comfort and value, offering spotless, well-kept rooms that feel both cozy and inviting. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The location is another standout—just steps from the Tower, promenade, and many of Blackpool’s attractions—making it ideal for both leisure and short breaks. Breakfast was a highlight: a freshly prepared full English complemented by cereals, toast, juice, tea, and coffee. Generous in portion and beautifully presented, it was the perfect start to the day. Service throughout my stay was warm and attentive. The host was welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to guest satisfaction. For those arriving by car, parking is available nearby, though not directly on-site—something to plan for in advance. Overall, Sonora Park Hotel delivers impressive hospitality, excellent value, and a truly central location. It’s a delightful choice for anyone looking to experience Blackpool with comfort and ease.
GBIt was a bed for the night
I understand we paid £54, that’s cheap for a hotel stay, however nowadays £54 is a lot of money. Our room was tiny, you had to squeeze into the bathroom to get in as the door couldn’t open due to the bed being there. There was a smashed window, we couldn’t close it as the glass would fall and due to that we were woken by noise at the crack of dawn. The shower was disgusting I wouldn’t step foot in it. There was some sort of dust all over the bedside table. A footprint on the bed where we slept. The ceiling just looked unsafe. When approaching the staff member in the morning to mention the smashed window he seemed concerned but not much of a reply.
