Very nice place. Lovely staff and next to a river and many sights and shopping all within walking distance. We got the onsen room and it was fabulous. Robes for the onsen were great and the breakfasts was Japanese and very good. Beds were very comfortable. They let us go in an hour early which was nice. A cute gift shop with good prices in the lobby. We had to leave at 5:00 am for our flight but we Uber’s it and someone was in the lobby to see us off that early. Would definitely recommend. Also has coffee. Water and green tea in the room very convenient

Very nice Royukan the sauna and hot bath were excellent and great for relaxing after a long and VERY cold day. Facility was a little beat up but probably because it’s been there for a while but it adds to its beauty. Could see the river from my room, had beautiful views of the mountain as well.
