The Stables

The cottage was magnificent with everything you could ever need it was clean comfy and fully kitted out, we were greeted with a beautiful welcome basket full of goodies that were very much appreciated aswell as fresh bread and eggs that were lovely. The location was outstanding and felt like you were truly in the middle of nowhere even though we were only a short drive from towns and villages like Matlock, Chesterfield, Upton etc. Our hosts Amy and Rob were on hand to help at all times and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as it could possibly have been.

Having to leave and come home.

We loved the property, well equipped and beautiful space. We felt at home with being super dog friendly. Really thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper for the humans and a goody bag for our dogs. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the local walks. We cannot wait to stay again! Parking on site is super convenient and there's even chickens in the garden. We really appreciated the additional touches, we had the best time. Thanks so much.

Nothing at all

Everything about the property was impressive. Our Hosts Phil and Amanda made us feel very welcome, and we were greeted with a hamper of goodies on arrival. We able to relax from the moment we arrived. The Stables Cottage is beautiful one bedroom self contained property., that's set within the Countryside, with amazing views of the Land. The facilities at the property were amazing. We had access to are very own Gym, electric charging point, and parking bay, along with the electric gates, that just added to the Security and Privacy of the property. The property was very cosy and warm, and had a built in fuel burner and electric heaters as an alternative. The property is Dog friendly, and just to walk around there Gardens was idilic, with Ducks and Chickens roaming around the land. We loved the peace and quietness it offered. Ashover Village is definitely worth a visit, along with Chatsworth House as a great day out. This property is by far the best property I've booked with Booking.com. Value for money, it's great, you will not be disappointed.

The property was cold on arrival, would have been nice to have the wall heaters on before we arrived. There is a lovely log burner in the accommodation, when we eventually got the fire going the property was lovely and warm.

Everything. Loved the animals pottering about. Fantastic welcome pack. Great ho.e touches. Enjoyed the fabulous log burner in the snowy weather. A great bolt hole for a few days RandR. Will definitely make a return visit.
