It was on the second floor which normally is OK but we had been walking the coastal path so more steps to climb!!

Beautiful view, sitting in the window overlooking the bay was amazing. Comfy bed and a fridge.

The character and location

Lovely location with a wonderful view over the harbour. Very comfortable and very nice people to deal with. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Port Isaac

There was nothing that needed improving

The location was great, with view out across the harbour. It had a lovely comfortable large bed and a good shower. I loved the artwork around the apartment and the interesting furniture pieces.

The main light in the living room needed fixing - we couldn’t stop it flickering and the plug for the heater also in the living room didn’t seem to work. As we were out nearly all day, we were happy to just use the bedroom and the bathroom. Rectifying a couple of maintenance issues would make this place better value for the price.

Broken and uncomfortable chairs in the room. There were no hand towels and only one face towel. Lack of power points available for use. No temperature control, a ceiling fan would have been nice. Smelly musty downstairs lounge area.

Port Isaac is beautiful and the view from our room window was amazing. The bed was really comfy and the staff were really lovely and there was a complimentary bottle of fizz and a congratulations card in the room which was very kind.

I understand the artistic theme as the property is an art gallery but feel a little more home comfort, like carpets would help. The staircase was very dark and the lights on the landing didn't work. The bathroom was not very clean and unfortunately there was an unpleasant smell from the drains. The dirty cleaning cloth was left on the hanging rail? The drinks tray had dirty glasses, used coffee in the cafetiere and what seemed to be leftover milk in the fridge from previous guests. Also it would seem the room hadn't been hoovered between guests. The room was on the small side with nowhere to put cases, clothing or damp towels. I think as far as value for money goes it was very expensive at £185 per night with no breakfast. We know Port Issac is a premium place to stay but please if you're going to charge premium, top quality is required.

Superb location overlooking the harbour, we stayed on the top floor with a cosy bedroom with a king size bed. Separate lounge with a tv and a private bathroom with a bath and amazing shower. Both the bedroom and lounge had large windows overlooking the harbour and Doc Martins house. Stunning views

The view is incredible, and comfortable beds. Very nice host.
