Tiny quarters and value for money

There was enough space in the room for us and we were comfortable. You have to stand on a footstool to see out of the windows but once you do the view is lovely. (We were on the top floor, I think the second floor room didn't have this problem). The location is amazing.

The accommodation is overpriced for a place that you stand on a footstool to look out of the windows, but I guess that is what you pay to stay within the village of Port Isaac.

The location was great

The room and building was dirt with lots of spiders and dirty glassware. There was no way to communicate with the owner/staff. There was a phone number listed but no one answered or returned your call.

Location, room was spacious, included a sitting room. Clean and quirky.

La posizione. La finestra ha una vista spettacolare sul mare e la casa di Doc Martin. Si trova in pieno centro praticamente di fronte all’hotel che nella serie viene usato come location per la scuola. Non ho trovato particolarmente difficoltoso il parcheggio a 5 minuti. Si può evitare la ripida salita verso il parcheggio con una pendenza minore passando da sotto lungo la strada panoramica.

La camera era molto sporca. Polvere dappertutto. Se soggiornerete date un’occhiata al lampadario sopra il letto, dietro il mini frigo e alla ventola in bagno. Se sono puliti ringraziate questa recensione… il bolllitore è da sostituire la serpentina é arrugginita. É vero la colazione non è inclusa ma sarebbe più opportuno e igienico offrire caffè e latte in mono porzioni piuttosto che un barattolo con il caffè e una caraffa con un po’ di latte in frigo… la camera è molto piccola. D’altra parte la vista fa passare tutto in secondo piano.

We had a truly delightful stay at The Gallery. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Port Isaac, with stunning views and easy access to the harbour, restaurants, and coastal walks. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and full of character, making us feel instantly at home. Jude and Martyn were warm and welcoming, attentive without being intrusive, and made sure everything was just right for our visit. We especially appreciated the thoughtful details in our rooms that added a personal touch to our stay. Overall, The Gallery exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing getaway in this beautiful part of Cornwall, and we would be very happy to return in the future.
