Babbling Brook Cottage

Babbling Brook is a deceptively spacious cottage set over three floors. Once the heating kicked in, was warm and comfortable. It was really useful having 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was well.equipped. Beds were comfortable. Good pub across the road. Useful parking space, although challenging to get into. Was initially worried about access and traffic noise, but neither were a problem. Good walking right from the door. Helpful host.

The property was very clean and tidy. Everything seemed very new and ran perfectly. The rooms and decor were lovely. Great location for a cosy weekend away, we got a takeaway (5 minute walk) on the Friday and went to the moon inn pub (across the road) on the Saturday after a lovely walk around padley gorge which was only a 10 minute drive away.

The blinds in the bedrooms let a lot of light in, these could do with being thicker if not blackout.

Location. The fact it had parking. That it had 2 bathrooms. That is was clean ( recently decorated?) and well equipped.

Everything was good. It was very cold when we arrived but the property was lovely & warm. It was spotlessly clean & had all that we needed & more.

Spotlessly clean and very cosy. There was everything that we needed and more. The location was perfect with a friendly pub over the road, fish and chips shop 2 minutes walk and Curry Cottage, a great curry restaurant a few minutes walk away. We had a lovely 40 minute walk to the next village too along a bridle way from the cottage. Would highly recommend.

The Host Dan made everything first class. The moon pub very good as well .

Whilst the parking space worked it was difficult getting onto the road because of the location of the property and the camber if the road at the top.
