The Birches with Hot Tub

The lodge was absolutely great and so modern. It was on the perfect little lodge park very quiet and easy to get too. 20 minute drive into York city centre or designer outlets! Hot tub was a great addition too.

Nothing! Everything was great.

Location was perfect. Not too far from Central York. Site was immaculate - lodge beautiful.

Dirty hot tub that was only luke warm, dirty inside, accommodation was dirty, mouldy window cills, stains on the sofas and sofa covers, stains on the walls and sink cabinate, shower was only just warm. Dust in the apartment was thick and hair tangled in the TV wires. Booked for 2 nights, arrived at 4:45pm Saturday was due to stay until Monday, left early sunday morning very disappointed.

The lodge was homely and the tea coffee sugar and biscuits were a nice touch fairly central to York City centre a couple buses take you in x46 and x45 and fairly frequent takes around 40 mins from the train station or 30/35 from the city centre the main TV has Netflix and decent signal the TV in the main bedroom has freeview but Internet isn't strong so subscription couldn't be used we did watch pear about on the freeview though as it has a decent airel connection hottub was lively set a 23c was lush

Boiler had heating to come on time throughout the day we arrived at 4pm on a day that was 23c so the place was hot hot! And took us a while to realize it was because heating kept coming on 🤣 towel we had 1 each I would of liked 2 consider the hot tub as well

The lodge itself was a great size and had everything you need, bedrooms were lovely and comfortable and the hot tub is a great addition to the lodge too

There were several cleaning issues and unfortunately an ant problem.
