Victorian Police Station Apartment

Lovely quirky place to stay, very friendly, informative and accommodating hosts. Lots to do in the local area, would recommend a trip to the Treguddick distillery, Eagle House Hotel bar, The Rising Sun pub and of course Bodmin Moor.

The automatic hallway light is quite bright if you get up in the middle of the night, but it's hardly going to ruin your stay. Maybe could have done with slightly thicker pillows?

Size of bed. Couldn't see the TV if you sat on tge bed (which was the only place to sit in the room. Lack of, shortage, of power points in bedroom. Breakfast was "continental " but you had to decide a day in advance what you needed. Even had to request milk one day as no one had checked the Kitchen once during our visit. Had to ask for new toilet roll as well.. Telephone numbers given on Booking.com were deemed to be incorrect.

Very quirky Being we stayed in the prison cell

Sehr außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Schlafen in einer ehemaligen Zelle. Genial. Vor allem die Vermieter sind sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Tolles Gesamtpaket.

Die Vermieter sind außerordentlich nett, zuvorkommend und liebenswert. Man findet immer wieder Zeit für eine nette Unterhaltung. Die zur Ferienwohnung umfunktionierten ehemaligen Gefängniszellen sind etwas Einmaliges. Leider gab es nur zwei Zellen. Daher ist kein Platz für einen Wohnraum oder ein breiteres Bett - aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau, man kann ja nicht alles haben! Die Ferienwohnung eignet sich sehr gut für Ausflüge in die Umgebung - von Clovelly bis Plymouth und vom Dartmoor bis Port Isaac. Gerne wieder einmal. Danke!

Quirky old police cells converted into apartments. Comfy bed, quiet location.

Continental breakfast only, which was lovely but I do prefer a full English. However, lots of places in walking distance to accommodate this.

It is clear the care and hardwork Ziggy has put into restoring the property. Both him and Emma are lovely hosts. Location was great for exploring Cornwall.

Drive is a bit tight just a note to enter with care.

The accomodation, in converted police cells, is comfortable and quirky. The hosts are genial and jovial, and do all they can to make your stay comfortable. There is plenty of light breakfast provisions, good WiFi, and a smart TV!

The bed is a double bed rather than a queen or bigger, but a bigger bed would not fit in the cell. No other quibbles!
