Victorian Police Station Apartment

Everything was great,loved the quirkiness of the police cell, Ziggy was excellent just giving us the history of the building.

Only a small thing but wished it had a small hob to cook,if wanted a cooked breakfast or to stay in and have food,not an issue as we were only there a couple of days but if a longer stay we would of liked this facility

The quirkiness of the property and the location. Emma and Ziggy were both lovely too.

It would have r been very helpful to have had a way of drying the towels after showering. Because of this by the 3rd day the towels were quite wet and had a damp odour to them.

We had a warm welcome from a lovely host, Mr Ziggy, who told us about the story of the Victorian Police Station Apartment. We felt at home and comfortable with his hospitality. Breakfast is a lot; I love the local coffee, fresh milk, cereals, and croissants. The location is perfect, well-connected to anywhere you want to go. It's a 3-minute walk to the town centre and Launceston Castle.

Ziggy was very welcoming, gave us a lot of local information,and also gave us a lift to the wedding venue we were attending, most enjoyable time.

Amazing building been lovingly restored with lots of original features. The host left the cupboard stocked with breakfast items. Soft fluffy towels and power shower with branded toiletries . Ziggy and his daughter can be immensely proud of restoring this old police station while keeping lots of original features like the cell doors .It was a very relaxing break exploring Launceston.

The people were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, especially Ziggy, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The flat was clean and well-maintained, and the location was convenient for getting around.

Historic building renovated sensitively to keep original features. First time I've spent the night in a police cell! Good shower with lots of hot water. Central location for shops, pubs, buses etc but yet very quiet. Good host.

No easy chairs or sitting area other than wooden chairs in kitchen area. Very warm a fan would have been appreciated. Little natural ventilation. Little impact on this visit as we were busy all day til bedtime.
