A warm welcome from Ziggy made us feel right at home in this amazing historic gem. So much more interesting than a sterile hotel. Loved the addition of a kitchenette that meant we didn't have to eat out. Croissants, cereal and good coffee were a lovely touch too. If you have a sense of adventure and you're looking for an interesting place to stay, the Victorian police station is fab. Well done on a brilliant, sensitive refurb job.

Phenomenal stay. The host was very communicative and gave really good recommendations for local events. Also staying in an old Victorian cell is an experience you chat have anywhere else. It’s modernized to not feel like cell but the history is still there with the doors and certain areas.

A little bit of a squeeze to get into the parking area but still parking nonetheless.

Absolutely amazing experience, the 'cells" were brilliantly done and all facilities were perfect. Lovely little touches of continental breakfast and toiletries. Ziggy was super and really accommodating, super informative and just simply amazing. Loads to see and do around the area and completely no noise disturbance. Only downfall we had was that it was a super muggy weather out and could have done with a fan but that's personal preference and Absolutely nothing against the accommodation. Very pleased with our experience and will definitely be visiting again and have already been recommending to friends and family. Thankyou Ziggy, you done an amazing job with renovation works

Nothing to not like

What a brilliant find! Ziggy has renovated it so a high standard but kept the unique character of the place. It was so good to hear from him of the history of the building and that the project continues as he works on a nice courtyard. I was lucky to have a nosey at the other suite as it was unoccupied and it too is completed to a high standard. Breakfast options were great and the kitchenette was well stocked during my stay. Lovley wee finishing touches like toiletries and big fluffy towels and fresh flowers didn't go unnoticed. It was nice to get a warm welcome from the cats who occupy the main house but not the guest accommodation each morning. Ziggy and Emma were great, nothing was an issue he was around all the time but not intrusive, gave me some brilliant recommendations in Launceton to eat drink and to visit along with the surrounding area. The town center is a stones throw away along with the castle. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay, I'll definitely be back!

Nothing 🙂 Be careful with the driveway it's very tight. Looking at the property approach from the right and you'll get in no problem.

The host, Ziggy was on hand upon arrival and gave a very comprehensive tour of the property and guest room. The breakfast was provided to allow the guest to prepare their own continental type breakfast. This suited my needs.

Not much, the stay was very comfortable with no issues. The guest rooms were well appointed.

An extremely unusual form of accommodation which is very near to all the facilities in the town and is also a good base for exploring all the other wonderful places nearby. As many have mentioned already, the hosts, Ziggy and his daughter Emma and her family, are oh-so helpful and friendly and are absolutely perfect hosts. The police cells have been sensitively converted into accommodation by Ziggy and there are many delightful retained features and provided hospitality extras which add to the experience of the stay. I would be very happy to stay here again and certainly aim to in the future when I next visit! Many thanks! Steve

Loved how the old cell was converted into a lovely living space, well equipped, with nice fresh roses and lovely breakfast options. Shower was amazing, kitchen was well equipped.
