Everything, EXCEPT the reservation process of booking.com. A TOTAL DISASTER. They screwed up the total reservations for this property, after the payment had been made, and could NOT reinstate the reservation. Had to be done directly by the hotel, resulting in a second payment. So far, 18 days after the original reservation, I have yet to received my booking.com refund, and PayPal have not been particularly helpful so far, but I am working on it. I will NEVER use booking.com again, having been messed about for a car reservation in Nov-2025.

Bathroom lighting should have same wattage lamps in all three fittings.

Bed was comfy, room was lovely.

Heater was stuck on all night but otherwise nice room. Not accessible for disabled or elderly because of very cool spiral staircase. A bit noisy on the main road if you want to lie in. Would book again if the radiator was fixed.

The Museum Residence Oxford is perfectly located in the heart of downtown, within walking distance of the train station, hop-on hop-off buses, and the university area. The common areas were nice, the coffee was good, and the excellent location more than made up for the inconveniences.

The standard room is very small with limited storage, and some maintenance issues—like a clogged shower and a window that didn’t close properly—could be improved.

Although very near to a bar no noise disturbance at all. Room really clean and well equipped with anything you could need. Amazing central location and very helpful instructions. Didn't meet any staff members and didn't have any problems but info given in case I needed to contact them

Sent codes through to access entrance and room which were a bit tricky to manage in the dark and wet. I use crutches so less agile than most. Single flight of stairs to get to the room which I was aware of when I booked and I was sent through helpful information about local disabled parking spaces nearby.

Very tiny bedroom and the bed was the smallest double bed we have ever slept in!
