The Crescent Guest House

Warm welcome from Mo. Great location to walk into the city centre. Room had everything we needed for our stay. Delicious bakery next door to be able to get takeaway breakfast to eat back at the Guesthouse.

Didn’t partake in breakfast. Figuring out heating in the room was quite a challenge. I would suggest some type of signage. I was a bit disappointed with the number of stairs and lack of a lift. HOWEVER, Mo picked up on my discomfort immediately and bent over backwards to help and assisted personally with my luggage. He was definitely right on top of things and extremely guest service oriented. He made what could have been a bit of a disaster into an overall pleasant stay. I do think the prices were a bit high, but that could be a function of the booking service I used. Good location a short walk to just about everything you could want.?

Heating, fewer stairs

Our hostess Mo was really helpful and a perfect host. This is definitely a five star hotel. You can use all the facilities in the kitchen. Mo gave us some great tips of how to get around and with the History. Would highly recommend. When we go back to Your will definitely be staying here again. Thankyou Mo you made our Visit exceptional

Mo, the host was very helpful and attentive. The location was within walking distance of the train station and to the city of York. Very comfortable.

It could do with some towel hooks to hang your towels. That's about all of the improvements needed.

10 out of 10. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful, giving us great tips on what to see in the city, as well as recommendations for restaurants and breakfast spots. He also helped us a lot with parking. The accommodation is clean, cosy and full of charm and character. It is also perfectly located, with the city centre and everything you need within easy walking distance. On top of that, it is extremely dog-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
