A beautiful green oasis found in the heart of Tetebatu. The super-friendly owners Anna and Agung created this very special place with much love and eye for detail and you feel welcomed and part of the community immediately. The rice fields and waterfalls are just around the corner, perfect for day trips. If you just want to relax, Santai House is the perfect location - you will forget time and definitely fall in love with nature :)

The accommodation is really peaceful as it is deep in the village. The hosts are really kind and even invited me to break our fasts together with their family. The room is really spacious and comfortable. All in all, I really loved staying here :)

The room was very beautiful and had everything you needed. Nice clean bathroom, very comfy beds and fresh smelling sheets! Very spacious and well thought out rooms! The place is also on very beautiful grounds and a great view over the rice paddy’s.

Be mindful the road up to the property is very difficult to navigate by scooter; loose gravel, pot holes and big drops in the paving of the road… but if you’re confident on a scooter it can be managed. If booking to stay here around Ramadan please be aware there are multiple mosques very close by meaning the frequent call to prayer during this time is at a very loud volume.

the comments of some travelers who complain about the noise from mosques. you are in a muslim country, mosques are part of the country's culture. when you travel, it's also for the culture and not just for the landscapes, have a little respect for the population that welcomes you. If you can't stand being woken up by the call to prayer, don't visit those countries because it's the same all over the word...

Private house with everything you need. You can feel the vibe of the small Indonesian village. You can rent a scooter and drive through many amazing rice fields. The terrace has a nice view over the rice fields as well. The owners are really nice and helpful. Food they cook for dinner or breakfast is really good.

Prepare the earplugs as there is a mosque near the place and it can be really loud sometimes.

I'm having a great time! The welcome was at the top. I came across a great family with lots of good vibes. I highly recommend, guaranteed change of scenery :) Hate to come back!

We had an amazing time staying at Santai House! Everting was just perfect and exactly what we were looking for. A super clean and cozy place! Just make sure you bring some earplugs with you, as there is a mosque right next to the house that is pretty loud during the night. The road to the house was a bit rough so be prepared ;) All in all our stay was great and we would definitely recommend it to everyone who’s traveling to Tetebatu!
