All around great service, set in a beautiful scenery! Fantastically friendly staff, delicious meals and a comfortable & clean room.

That we had to leave... The only improvement that could further enhance the experience would be a more descriptive social media presense to better include non-hunting activities & options.

Beautiful and peaceful. Lovely swimming pool. Friendly staff.

Lack of communication. Access gates didn’t word and codes for gates were not provided. Breakfast rather expensive.

"Lovely spot and facilities and very friendly staff. Be aware it is a Hunting lodge."

Staff and service were lovely. Bike ride in the reserve was fun.

The fact that it is a hunting lodge, which we weren't really aware of when we booked. We are animal lovers and all the taxidermy freaked us out somewhat.

The staff Hester and The chef Orlandi welcomed us with a cold welcome drink and hand clothes. They were very friendly and took us to our room. Otterskloof is an Oasis in the dessert.

"Quiet luxury in the Karoo"

So quiet and serene. The Karoo has a stillness that you get nowhere else. The service ,dinner and breakfast was fantastic, the room super luxury, unfortunately not a bath.

Slightly off the N1 but worth the drive. have to be able to drive dirt road.
