Chonor House

The rooms are all hand painted and filled with handcrafted furnishings. There is a lovely dining area and garden with a view over the valley and temple. It’s very charming.

The food was good but not everything in the menu was available. It’s good to check what is before making a choice.

I can’t imagine a better place to stay in McLeod Ganj. Located right in front of the Dalaï Lama Temple. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The property is beautifully decorated. The food is delicious. Chin or House is an experience in itself. I loved it.

The rooms are beautiful. It’s lovely to sit outside on the terrace and the people who work there are so friendly.

Rooms were very comfortable. Staff were lovely.

Water filter wasn’t working so would have been nice to not be charged for bottled water. Dogs sometimes barked through the night so sleep was problematic on some nights.
