Great hospitality with wonderful people ...thank you for that very much.

The communication was very difficult. it was impossible to get in contact with the hotel. I waited 48 hours for an answer of my question if I could shift the booking. When I got the answer it was too late to cancel, I had then to pay full price for a night instead of 50%. I couldn't be there in time because of a flight delay.

Wifi didn’t work and the room (especially bathroom) were cold. A/c which supposed to heat the room barely worked. The breakfast was awful. Really poor choice.

What a fabulous place! Set in a beautiful location with views of the Himalayas in one direction and across the valley in another. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff were amazing; nothing was too much trouble and they were always sweet and friendly. The food was lovely, the ambience tranquil. Very hard to leave!

It is a beautiful property. Lovely room with painted murals.

The location. Even though close to the Dalai Lama’s temple it is very difficult to get to there or other parts of McLeod Gang. Steep and rough streets and alleyways. The buffet breakfast didn’t have the food, utensils etc ready. The staff were slow to respond.

Good Place, with great furniture and decoration. Peaceful. Close to the Dalai Lama Temple. Good Tibetan Style. Friendly Staff.

It’s a bit old

Quaint rooms, individually themed with artwork adorning the walls and panels of furniture. I had a balcony with glimpses of mountain and valley views, overlooking the courtyard and restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful and polite.

The first room I was allocated was spacious and well appointed, but the exhaust fan from the kitchen was right outside the window where I was going to sleep so I requested to be moved to a quieter room. The location is tricky to find, being up a very steep and narrow lane way then there are a lot of steep stairs to get up to reception. The staff were helpful in carrying bags, but this should be noted for anyone planning to stay here. Breakfast options were fairly limited also, although I was at the tail end of tourist season and there weren't many guests,
