It was fully equipped, we had a need for nothing. Home away from home. Riaan was extremely accommodating and helpful. We loved the tranquility.

Lovely cottage. Fully equipped. Comfy bed. Nice to see the zebra and peacocks roaming around. Star gazing was amazing. The sound of lions during the night was fantastic. Lovely view over the dam with seating and a kayak. Some great places to eat within a short distance Wildekraans/Beaumont/Shuntin Restaurant and others.

Very friendly people

We arrived and were greeted by the incredibly friendly Riaan, who gave us a lovely tour of the house, explained a few details about the property, and shared some fun stories with us. This trip was extra special as it was our first family getaway in years, with my dad visiting from the UK. The main farmhouse was perfect for us— a spacious kitchen where we could swap stories while cooking up a storm, a beautiful dining table for shared meals, and a large lounge (though we barely used it, as we spent most of our time outside enjoying the views, the friendly animals, and the pool). The bedrooms and bathrooms were also comfortable and inviting. We had a nature experience with Daniel (I believe that was his name), which was an absolute treat. Learning about the animals, spending time with the coolest zebra and hanging out with the Cheetahs made it unforgettable. The property also had a dam with a kayak and a seating area— a huge hit with our great-nephew! We definitely plan to come back again.
