If you are planning trekking its good place to start. Quite near to Ella rock and uper Ravenna falls. Next to train station. Big clean rooms.

I recently stayed for one night at Kithaya Ella Resort, and it was truly a memorable experience. This was my second visit to Ella, and I enjoyed it far more than my first, thanks to the calm and free environment at Kithaya Ella. The morning view from the resort is absolutely breathtaking, with the sound of birds singing adding to the serene atmosphere. It gave me such a pleasant and peaceful feeling throughout my stay. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. My room was very clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. I also had breakfast at the hotel, and it was delightful with fresh fruits and a variety of delicious items made it a great start to the day. I highly recommend Kithaya Ella Resort to anyone who loves a peaceful and free environment. It's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Ella.

The room was clean & well maintained. All facilities were provided as per advertised. The location is at one station before Ella main station & so slightly far off from the main Ella town but is walkable (around 40 mins) through the railway tracks. If you want to stay away from the crowd & noise, then this location is perfect.

Surprisingly no bugs, kind of clean. Friendly, attentive staff. Good location. Book the economy room, just so you can open the balcony door and see the balcony 😂❤️

Be aware there is not much to do in Ella, so unless u only want to sleep here, I wouldn't recommend it. Its not place u want to come after day full of trekking or riding train. Room is dark, weird carpet. Doesn't feel comfortable. No mosquito net. Toilet is leaking. Water is not always warm. Whoever photographed the room, did really good job.

I have stayed at different places in Ella during this time period. But Kithaya Ella is the best place that I stayed. It has a calm and quiet area. That free environment supports me a lot for my activities. The location is near to the railway station and it was easy to travel through train. The staff was very friendly. They supported me to visit the places in Ella.The room that I have booked is a comfortable and clean room with a good space.I highly recommend this place for the people who visit Ella, Sri Lanka.

The place was lovely! Clean, quite, comfortable and friendly always available Dilshan. He was very helpful and had some great suggestions. It was a big room with comfy bed and a nice location near the train station. I would strongly recommend to anyone travelling to Ella and the area. Thank you!
