Gandan Terrace Guesthouse

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The host was very sweet.

Location wasn't bad but wasn't the best.

オーナーがとても親切で、早朝のタクシー手配を快く引き受けてくれ、当日の朝「もうすぐ来るよ」と部屋に知らせに来てくれた。 さらに、タクシードライバーに希望の行き先を伝えてくれ、見送りまでしてくれた。本当に温かい宿です！ (タクシードライバーも良い方で、バス停で降ろしてくれたあと、私が乗りたいバスが来るまで待ってくれて、バスが来たら「これに乗るんだよ」と教えてくれた！) お部屋も広く清潔で、共用のスペースも素敵な空間だった！テラスから見た朝焼けがとても綺麗だった！ ウォーターサーバーやカフェスペースもあり、ホットシャワーも問題なく、他のゲストも感じが良い人ばかりで、快適に過ごすことができた！ぜひまた宿泊したいです！

The guesthouse is conveniently located near Gandantegchinlen Monastery, just a 5-minute walk to the main entrance. My main purpose of visiting was to attend Buddhist courses, and this location was ideal. The room provided all the basic necessities, and it was both comfortable and clean. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, I was able to rest well throughout my stay. If you value peace and quiet, this guesthouse is definitely the better choice. The owners are very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

I remember taking a shower once at 11 pm and again at 5:30 am, and the water was freezing cold. Later, they put up a notice stating that hot water is only available from 7 am. However, I’m not sure what time the owner actually switches off the water heater. It would be better if there were a switch outside the bathroom to turn the heater on and off.

大きな寺院の隣、大通りからほんの少し外れたところに位置し、とても静かで気に入りました。テラスでのんびり過ごすのが最高です。リビングも広々としています。掃除が行き届いて清潔です。オーナーご夫妻がにこやかで優しいです。

シャワーの温度が上がらない時がありました。宿泊者が少なかったので気になりませんでしたが、バスルームが2つなので、人数が増えると不自由を感じるかもしれません。
