Room and living area was spacious. Working AC and a RO filter which was great for refilling water bottles. Couldn't get the shower head working during our stay, so we had bucket showers which was fine. The staff was friendly and the wifi worked well. Location was within walking distance to the main city area

"Strange apartment, but sufficient"

7.0

This apartment was difficult to rate. We rented a deluxe apartment with a balcony, with the balcony being walled off, with essentially no view. The front room was very large and sparsely furnished, no a.c, but fans and plenty of mosquitos. The bedroom. Had a.c., and was quite well decorated and was comfortable. The breakfast was provided, and was good if lukewarm at best, served at a random hour in the morning, about 830. The staff were severely english challenged, for example, could not grasp the idea of tea with breakfast. The place only accepred cash, up front, and was expensive relative to value.

It's was located on a large, noisy busy road, three floors up, with an entrance through a parking garage. The shower was not working, thus bucket, and there was no hot water

"Ok for one night"

Comfortable bed and sheets. Well located.

Very big room, not very useful for one night. Not much pressure in the shower. A bit difficult to find, no sign in the street or the building.

Coral Shelters Keelavasal is a nice place to stay. They offer three apartments, one of them (A3) being very spacious. The location is pretty central to the Meenakshi Amman Temple and Thirumalai Nayak Palace. Despite the lively street it is on, the appartment is nicely quiet. Host Babu keeps the place clean. He is nice and helpful, though communication can be challenging due to a language gap. The tasty Tamil breakfast, prepared by Amutha, is served between 8:30 and 8:45h. Tip: ask for directions to the hotel written in Tamil on paper and take a photo of that on your phone. Makes it way easier to get an auto rickshaw back to the place. Over all I would recommend staying here.

All in all it was a comfortable place in a very good location. We arrived in the middle of the night and there was an effort made for us to be accommodated until our check in time in another room for a partial fee (in total around 75% of the total room price for 5 hours of rest. They advised we should vacate the temporary room until 11:00AM but at 9:45 they were already knocking on the door for us to change the room which woke us up.
