Forestscape Resort Munnar

I had my own little hut. Lovely little balcony with spectacular views over the tea plantations. The room had a kettle, so I could make a cuppa in the morning. The location is great if you want to be away from noise and other people. Nice staff but a special mention of Sibin. He was fantastic. Beaming smile and nothing he wouldn't do for us.

My recommendation would be to check if their credit card machine works unless you have Google pay or similar. It is far away from an ATM. Fortunately, I had enough cash. But this should have been communicated to us earlier.

Hotel has a wonderful view over tea plantations. Quite isolated but an ideal respite after a day out. Rooms are modern big and comfortable. Bathroom big, but no shower curtain/screen ( normal Indian standard wet area) means it get very wet. Staff member Sibin was amazing! He was always smiling and ready to assist. A true asset to the establishment.

Would love more place to hang bath towels to dry. Hotel did not have credit/debit card reading machine operational, and unfortunately did not mention it prior to checkout. Come with cash! Wifi poor and both it and power keeps dropping out.

The ambience and view were awesome, the staff was great, and overall, it was superb.

Its bit difficult to enter the resort by bike. Kindly include kerala special snacks items also.

The location is great. The rooms are aesthetic and has a beautiful balcony. One can spend a whole day sitting there. Roads are very much drivable. The Manager is very friendly and helpful.

The service was slow. Water bottles (complimentary) which were supposed to be given every had to be called in for. Even glasses had to be called in for. The bed sheet was torn at places. Breakfast starts really late at 8.30 am. If you are supposed to leave early, then you will not get breakfast. And yes they charge 150 INR for onion salad.

We had a great time at the Forestscape resort in Munnar. We book a bit last minute but they still manage to book a jeep safari for us in the afternoon. It was a great experience to visit the tiger cave and the different waterfalls but the highlight of the tour were, of course, the elephants. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed in one of the cabins, with amazing views of the tea plantation. Also, we would like to mention Sibil who was really attentive with us and always with a smile. We had dinner and breakfast at the resort and it was delicious. Overall very happy we chose to stay here-recommended!

Extremely serene location. One will fall in love with picturesque views of tea garden from room”s big windows and large balconies. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Like to mention an extremely generous staff named “ Sibin” for arranging a bonfire on request . Another staff arranged a speaker . Thanks to both of them . Also like to mention “Amal “for guiding us to great spots of Munar . Good music along with bonfire made a perfect getaway. Loved the hospitality. Thanks for treating us this great. I loved the location and view from the estate. The rooms were clean. The food was delicious at the restaurant. They make a bonfire for us in the evening after dinner.

When we reached the room after a long drive, we found the toilet seat broken. After that the bathing area had a soap tray which had a loose screw and was slanting so the soap kept slipping. The pipe under the wash basin was leaking. The light outside the room was not working. The restaurant was difficult to get to as we had to climb up on a rock followed by stairs. The glass water bottle was unclean with a yellow base. There were a lot of power cuts and we could not use the plug points for charging phones and many lights were also not working during that time. During check out there was no one at the reception even after repeatedly asking the other staff. We had to leave early which we had informed the day before. They also asked for a very high price for a taxi to visit Kolukumalai. They asked for a total of ₹7500 but we arranged it for ₹6000 only. Overall, we would not recommend staying there.
