Forestscape Resort Munnar

Pearched on a hill side overlooking a beautiful tea plantation. The rooms were big with a balcony and a great view down the valley. There was no air con, just a fan, but to be fair that was enough. Due to the altitude you didnt need air con. We ate at the hotel, there didnt seem anywhere else around. The food was fine and the staff couldnt do enough for us. They were very attentive. When we booked the accommodation we were quite excited about it having a pool. When we got there were told that the pool was undergoing maintanence. That was an understatement, it looked like it had been undergoing maintenance for a considdrable amount of time ha ha. The staff were happy to light a camp fire at night. All in all a more than decent hotel, far from the maddening crowd.....just dont get your hopes up about the pool!

The view is amazing, warm atmosphere, the rooms incredible with the view on plantations, food is good, staff is very kind, especially Sibin and Ahul.

Nothing. Staff were friendly, but going on holidays is not to meet friendly staff, but to relax and enjoy.

To start with, there is confusion regarding room type. We booked Deluxe Room, we were given airframe. Tiny airframe- no space to keep or hang clothes, doors don’t close properly, towels , toothbrush, tissues and paste not supplied. Kitchen area can’t be more dirty. Came for a relaxed getaway, sitting I the airframe balcony, there was non stop local traffic till late night.

Very comfortable rooms, amazing view. The breakfast, lunch and dinner is fantastic. Very friendly staff, wo take care for the clients: The manager, Silbin, Adhul, the kitchen madam and the whole cooking crew.
